Energy Drinks - Anyone Addicted?

LOL!!! Yea like 10 grams (10,000mg)....which is 50 cups of coffee drank AT ONE TIME. Or 50 beverage's containing around 200mg of caffeine at once. 12 red bulls in 2 hours = 960mg of caffeine over 2 hours....not even close, bad yes...kill you, no.

 

Took a No Doz on the last night of my cruise to baja california and stayed up all night. I felt like SHIT the next two days.

i think ive had two or three in my life, those things are just TERRIBLE for your kidneys!. . . . though one night i was working a night shift and i hadn't been able to sleep well that day, and by around 3 a.m. i was dragging! mexican dude that was working with me who knew i was working that night had bought one for me. he came up to me and said "drink this. it will make you will feel better" in the best english he could haha. i downed it and was an animal for about 45 minutes, then i crashed lol. it was terrible. i just don't see the hype in them.

 

I did...and edited. he still isn't gonna die from caffeine, sugar high maybe.

 

MONSTER for me. If i dont drink 1 during lunch. i need my senior citizen 3pm nap. I also love the taste. (green one that is).

 

ok your right. i just googled it and it would take more to kill him. but too much caffeine can still kill you.

Like if you were taking caffeine pills you know.

I would never take caffeine pills, if I don't have caffeine, I'll just take some carbs...natural energy! Power bars are the shiznit.

 

I used to be addicted to monster.

I stopped drinking them about a year ago. I realized how much money i was spending on them.

I usually start my workday with either Regular Monster (Green), or Monster Rehab. I set a few ground rules for myself, as I know they are bad.
1) No more than 1 can a day.
2) Not every day.
3) No soda the rest of the day. Only water, juice, milk, or beer!

I'm at about 5 cans a week... typically. I'm not addicted, I just enoy the flavor. I quit drinking for about 2 months, just to see if I could. No worries...I can stop when I want, I just enjoy em. I buy a 24 pack at Sam's Club for about $31. About a $1.30 a piece.

i picked other because I drink Four Lokos and redbull vodkas, i like getting fucked up while getting hypped up at the same time. YEEEHAWWWW

 

I like this site...lol it tells me when to stop drinking or eating the potential killers.

 

You drink other things to feed your other aDICKtion.

 

I drink them more for the taste than that actual "benefits".

I chose the Other option, because my crack choice is called Beaver Buzz. Made in BC, eh.

I usually only drink one a week if even that much. But I always carry 2 or 3 of the Red Bull shots with me in my bag. Sometimes I get sent out on the road for a few hours at the last minute, and these help me stay alert, and don't make me stop to piss every 30 minutes like a Monster or something equally as large does.
