I am anti list. But I agree with your timing of the duties. My Wife sent me to the store to buy something one time. She called after I was gone for 3 hours (the store is 1/2 mile away), and was asking what was taking so long. :D
I agree. I help out anytime Im asked. I dust, vaccume (kinda, though I havent quite finished that since I broke the vaccume, which is now fixed), and wash the dog. :)

My dryer has a tendency to not turn off. We've actually had the thing running for like 3 days and there was no fire.

Here's something I learned the expensive way after being a single parent of a teenage girl (applies to girlfriends / wives too)...don't put bras in the dryer.

My daughter now has a collection of bras that fit Barbies.

lol i used to get in shit when i was younger when i would go to do laundry my step mother always had clothes in the washer and i would throw them in the dryer without looking to see if there were bras. like i said before my gf has these egg shaped things that the bras go in and it protects them from braking the underwire. low heat was what i was told to set the dryer at.

Here's another hint: they get pissed off if you use their 400 dollar bench type blender to mix sheetrock mud.

what's the fun in that? I spent a good 7 hours removing the old clothesline from my backyard.

Imagine a Steel T that is about 10 feet tall and only sticks out of the ground 6 feet. Then imagine that there is about a 1' diameter block of concrete on that last 4'. Fun times...
