I bought a 2004 DC Tacoma on December 3, 2008. In the short time I have had it I LOVE it. I really miss having a truck. I have gone through some good mud puddles with it and had a blast. My next truck will most differently be a 4x4 though so I can go deeper into the puddles : ). The only thing I have done so far is tint the windows.

Thanks. I have been looking around here for about a month and I have learned a lot about the tacoma. I look forward to learning all i can :). How do you guys think the Cragar Black Widow D Wheels with an A/T tires will look on my truck. With the stock ride height.

I saw on most websites with a 16x8 it has a 13 mm offset. So I am not 100% sure they will fit.

If they fit, they'll look good. I really like my Soft 8s, but I got 15x8. I had to run a 1/4" spacer to clear the brake calipers.

WOW those do look good. I may even consider those wheels. I will have to do some research before I buy them. Hopefully they will fit since they are 16's which is what I have now. But I think they are 16x7's

Thanks! I think the the stock alloys are 16x7. You most likely won't have a problem fitting them. Just do your research.

x2....no research necessary for those. They'll fit.

Awesome thanks man. That saves me the task of removing a rim and looking to see the exact size :)

I am hijacking my own thread to ask questions :). Could I use this lift kit on my 2WD?
Is it worth it to lift a 2WD and take it mudding? I have taken it mudding so far (but nothing too serious like a 4WD can do). I love the look of a lifted truck though. I want to do at least a 3" lift and have some bigger tires, maybe 33's.

That lift would work on your truck. There are alot of options for lifting. That one being on the less expensive side. Many of the lifted trucks on this forum are 2WD. You might not be able to go everywhere a 4x4 can, but you've got a very capable truck.
