What your boss does to the 3 chics is up to the bossman. What the chic does about your roof is up to you. You're 21 who cares what your parents think!! Someone stepped on your roof, committed an act of vandalism (innocently of course) and you want it fixed. I would too man!!

Make her pay to get it fixed!

Bet you could get that fixed with the old compressed air trick. Or as someone else mentioned, just by pushing up from the inside or with PDR. But it's your truck, your call. If you don't want to mess with it, then don't. Go to the bodyshop of your choice and get an estimate. I say let your boss know you don't want to get anyone suspended or fired .. but you do want to get it paid for, and bring in the estimate. I can't really see it in those pics, but if it's not across one of the ridges, it's probably going to be well under $100 to pull it out (if that). If it's across one of the ridges, then it may be a much bigger deal.

    My opinion,

I too would be frustrated and expect it to be corrected.

Go to the girls (with someone you trust to be a mediator) and explain the situation, and what you want. Provide them a quote to repair said damage. If they are unwilling to make it right, then let the law handle it.

I too would be pissed and expect it to be corrected.

Again, just my opinion of how I would handle it.

Wow i see it much different. 3 girls think it will be funny to cover somebody's car, that they don't know, with their trash. In the America i grew up in thats not a prank, thats vandalism. A prank is something you do to someone you know, harassing someone you don't know, making them clean up your trash, and stepping on and damaging their property isn't a prank, its a big F you! If it were my truck they'd be paying for the damages at least.

This, and plus, I see no dent, besides your roof looks like it's got measles. I'd be sweating the paint way more than the dent.

I'd just worry that if you let it slide, and tell them to pay you back "out of pocket" without any kind of report from the police or your work, they could pretty much fail to pay and you couldn't pursue it further.

I let one of my brother's friends "pay me back when he got the money" after he backed into my old autocross car, and yep you guessed it, never saw a dime.

I agree that you may be able to push it out from the inside. If not, the idea about clipping their hair Jackass style would seem appropriate since most girls value their hair the same as we value our trucks, but sadly that would get you in trouble. Many people think "ah, it's a truck, who cares?" But these are still expensive vehicles that most of us take great care of.
The one that stepped on your roof (I cringed when I read that part) should pay for the damage, period.

deff like ur response dude! but yeah i think only the one should pay for it, the other girls didnt do anything DUMB like step on ur truck! if they are gonna play pranks they need to learn how to do it the smart way without causing damage to property, so the one needs to learn a lesson. now if it was me, i would beat that b****es ass, but im a chick so its ok :D if shes prissy you could compare it to breaking her flat iron or ruining her favorite purse, girls would understand that.

    expensive purse = girl
    truck = guy

you can see the dent better on that pic...but damn how do you dent it there, anytime i got on my roof i always walked on the edge... it was a 92 exploder but still it had a flimsy top...if i did put a dent in it, it usually popped up as soon as i moved my foot, but im only 120lb ide deff make her pay for it she needs to learn how to prank better, plus i agree with dude up there, if its someone you know its a prank, its its someone you dont know, thats vandalisim. ide be pissed!

that aint bad at all, just get in your truck and remove the headliner and pop that out.
then for your time to correct her mistake id get some I O U's from her and her friends and call it good.

sucks they wanted to "prank" someone without even knowing whos vehicle it was but going through all this to get them to fix it is going to be more of a headache than its worth when you could take approximately 1 hour to pop that out yourself

I would be very pissed! I would have called the police and pressed charges for vandalism. You don't mess with someones vehicle. I put my hard earned money into having a nice vehicle, if somebody dumped trash on it and in doing so dented it, they deserve to be punished. There are too many people in this world today that don't give a damn about other peoples property.
