S'up...I'm just joining and here's what I've done lately.

Bought her back in January and just added the wheels and roof rack for a birthday prez. The radio (Pioneer AVH P3300) and sub (10" MTX) was done Last week. I took my first stab at building the box in a weird ass shape to make it look better than just a rectangular one. It turned out sounding REALLY good. The speakers have all been replaced with Alpine. I added the component alpine tweeters in the rear doors to balance out the sound. Works great with the new Pioneer HU. I tried the Kenwood 418 but it was terrible using bluetooth so I sent it back.

I have been reading about the add-ons and there are some reel good ideas. I'll be getting some bigger tires soon to do her justice...

Just got mine last week and installed it. Have to pull it back out to put in the 12v relay for the bypass. But I am really stoked about the sound quality. And the Pandora access via iphone is awesome. Enjoy it!

Nice. Are you using the stock speakers? What other sound upgrades have you done? and what dash kit did you use? any issues? Install looks great.

Did the Tokico to TRD Bilstein swap with the whopping 1/2" lift up front from Toytec 1/4" TP spacers, all this one is getting. Also installed egr vent visors & vacuumed it after beachin this past wknd.

Thanks! I used the grey dash kit that came with from Crutchfield. I have replaced the door speakers front with Alpine SPS 610c 6 1/2 component speakers and the rear with Alpine 3 way 6 1/2s. But I left the little tweets in the front doors because if you have looked at them, they are a biiaaatch to replace. The bracket that holds them is shaped goofy. So I put the smaller Alpine tweets in the rear doors, up in the black part and they fit perfectly. I have a Kicker ZX250 amp that is powering the MTX TR4510 10" sub I built that sits in the middle of the back seat. It is angled and sounds great. The pioneer powers the rest of the speakers just fine, I usually have the volume at about 9-11. I also spent some time sound dampening the cab by removing the door panels, seats and floor carpeting and rear pockets behind the back seats and put in small squares of roof flashing, and then mass amounts of neoprene. It seems to have worked well and all the sound proofing was cheap because it didn't say dynamat on it.
