My Dad has a Ford cargo van, he's at 450K on it right now, drives it 100+ miles a day and it still runs.

I wasnt dissing there reliability just the way they ride/feel I dislike. You treat anything right (auto wise) it SHOULD last long.

So out of all the things to quote in these last two amusing pages, this is all I have to say:

Really...you try to pick up women at pizza hut?

Mike, what do you mean you dont like the way they ride? Fords are damn near quiet and ride smooth compared to most. My brothers wifes Hummer is stiff and makes all kinds of creaks and pops when going down the road. I will say when I got first got my truck when it was stock it had a really nice ride compared to the stiff ride I have now.

When I drove the new f150 It felt like a brick, big plastic interior felt really cheap. Seats sucked. Throttle felt lacking, just felt so big and when turning corners it was boring. Idk I hated everything about it. The only pro about the whole truck is the roll down rear window.... I just hated how it rode. It may be quite and smooth but that not what I want. I want to feel what im driving I dont want a big body rolling slow cheap feeling truck. I just cant explain everything I disliked about it.

I'm not going to bash one or the other since I love my Taco but was looking into a full size diesel Ford but I want to feel like I am driving a truck, not a Caddy. I like the bumps and firmness and the way they both drive. If I didn't want to hear a peep or just float over every bump or pot hole or feel like I was just gliding along, then I wouldn't buy a truck, period.

    Just my .02

I like the 04-08 body style the best. I think if anything were to ever happen to my truck I think I would probably get an F150. Yah it may not be fast but trucks arent really built for speed :D If I wanted to make it fast I'd just Bully Dog the bitch out lol
