The heavy stepper should pay for the damage. I can see the dent. As long as it's there it will annoy the sht out of you. Ask her to pay for its repair with your boss present so she knows that you're talking him out of firing her.

For all those who say it's no big deal, take a ball peen hammer to their cars and then ask them how they feel about it.

I don't care who it is...someone damages my truck for the sake of a prank, I would be livid.

That would do it, and still pay for the repairs though....maybe some kinda 4 way payment plan....just for pain and suffering,
    good luck

Just like the underpants elves. Nice

That shit pisses me off... "I'm only drawing in the dust with my finger I can't hurt anything" Well fuck you now your name is scratched into my clear coat.

Same girl... While I was CHANGING HER TIRE FOR HER put her shoe up on my fender to tie it... I about lost it but kept myself to just yelling a lot. She was like "What's the big deal I'm not hurting anything" YES YOU FUCKING ARE. She had to teach herself to put a spare on that day. :D

Ive used a plunger to pull out a dent on my driverside door after it had been punched :anonymous:

Couldnt you drop the headliner and take a rubber mallet and knock it back out?

Edit: Sorry didnt read entire thread. Someone else already suggested

Seriously, I get angry when the woman keeps pulling on the passenger handle to get in while I'm fumbling with the door locks. If someone STEPPED on the top of my truck and left a dent, whether it's fully noticeable to everyone or just to me, I would be ****** livid!!

I think you should definitely try to go with the informal resolution first, approach the girl, or girls together, first, and tell them you know what they did and that because of the foot on the top you now have to pay money to get it fixed, if they deny it or refuse to pay, suggest that you have proof that they did it and that you don't want to get the manager involved if you don't have to, and if they still refuse, I'd say call the cops and tell the manager to fire their asses! just my .02 on what I'd do in that situation.

If they offer payment in the form of, well, adult activities, I'd probably accept that as well and then just try to punch the dent out :D. AS LONG as they pay up, that is.

um, have you guys seen the dent? She has to be a big girl to put a dent there, and any sexual favors would be more of a favor for her than the OP. Why do you guys want him to suffer more?

It was reported as vandalism at work. If a manager is involved, security probably is too, and there will be a policy in place to deal with work place vandalism. They may ask what you would like done, but they will more than likely be subject to the policy, and punished in accordance to that.

To be honest, I wouldnt want someone who doesnt even realize you're not supposed to STAND ON THE ROOF OF THE CAR near my car/truck, let alone washing it.

"Oh you're not supposed to use the same gritty towel used to wash the wheels as the painted body? Oops."

I think the answer is clear. Get estimate (or imagine an amount that would satisfy you), confront them, and tell them you expect to be paid for the damages. How much you let them sweat about their jobs is up to you.

It really does not matter how major/minor the damage is, its HIS truck, and he should have the damage taken care of to his liking. Period.

(I also agree that a prank is done to someone you know... dumping trash on a random vehicle is straight-up vandalism.)

I would be calling for there heads on a stick after they paid for it, but I'm a bit of a D**k especially when it comes to my vehicle but in all seriousness you work hard to pay for the things you have and if someone messes it up being dumb they should pay for it, and coworker, girl, or whatever doesn't matter.
