    the cv binding is actually hard to get. i think a lot of people don't really know what binding is or how to tell if they have it, and hterefore jsut assume they do. my extended coilovers have as much drop as you can get for stock length arm applications and mine don't bind. larry (same shocks) is currently binding on ones side, but my gues is he's worn out a shock and is getting too much drop. his are a year older than mine and he wheels more.

    i think his issue was a wheel bearing that was shot, not binding in the CV

    the breaking has to do with the amount of stress on the teeth on the ring gear, not a binding issue

    i think that's what's making the noise, but that should cause binding. if you had enough play in the wheel bearing to bind a cv, the truck would be undrivable

    binding is generally something that prohibits movement or makes it tough (ie extreme cv angle, driveshaft angles (this would be on the U-joints)

    Correct me if i'm wrong, im pretty sure this is what binding is generally on a vehicle

    you can bind gears too, but i don't think that was the issue with the factory lockers

    i don't know enough about gears to acurately respond to that, but i'd assume that meshing is one or the main factors to it.

    one thing to considder (independant of brand), is that once you go above 90 horse power, insurance will go up a signifficant ammount. or at least that was the case 3 years ago.

    modles with reverse are more expensive, and usually only on newer modles, however, it'll make them easier to dock and manuver in tighter areas, an probably brings insurance down a little

    ah, so you're not buying them lol.

    in that case, disregard the comments about insurance costs. that's a nice set of skis. as usual, price is a little hi, but that's what negotiating is for. if possible, see if you can test them before you buy. at the very lease, start them up. but for 16k asking, you should be able to ride them

    My dad is thinking about gettin a pair or more lol. His only worry is my bro breaking them. He tends to break things then leave them for my dad to fix. Hes the same one I say has bad juju. No, he isnt the one that was at the Citrus Meet lol
