How you guys liking them Cobra 75's? Been looking at a new radio and options where the hell to put it  Mines been ok where it is but curious...seen a few bad reviews on the 75. I may just drop a new one right in the same spot beside the passenger leg  Looked at under the stereo head unit but only have 1-1/8" in the cuby beneath. Nah like behind the seat or in the storage box under my arm.

My CB is probably 12 years old....from Radio Smack  and that's what you have to do to it on the trail. Would like to get a new one and just looking at options for install. My dash kit seams to be a Metra (small pocket under the radio) and the one pictured looks to be a Scosche....they seam to have a bigger hole

The 75 is fer sure the cleanest install. Looked at some with an swr meter built in but them is massive!

    Also just found these.... http://www.francisantennaonline.com/

Francis Antennas are pre-tuned from the Francis Antenna factory so tuning it to the vehicle is usually not necessary, making it the antenna of choice for anyone needing to easily and quickly mount an antenna without the hassle of tuning.

Awesome, definitely going to use Langley then. The only thing I need to get now is a new leaf center bolt in case the stock one won't work with the Deaver AAL I have.

Something bout that doesnt sit well. Firesticks are "pre" tuned to the best they can be, but still have to be tuned when put on the vehicle due to the placement of the antenna. Forward or to the rear of the vehicle will mess with the tuning and how much of the antenna is above the cab also. Everything I have ever read says you must tune after install for accurate swr readings.
