So let me get this strait. Your gonna run 35"s on your 4cyl without regearing. But spen 2,400 on beadlocks? You know about the upkeep that beadlocks require? I just dont see 35"s fitting without the cab mount chop? :notsure:

no i plan on regearing around christmas time and they are not real beadlocks i know what they are all about like coming out from watching a movie and finding that one of your tires is flat :D the walkers are from there street collection and i'm going to try the internal bead lock filthy motor sports sells them omf is just adding their scalloped rings and powder coating the wheel ina certain way for me. either way i go. my truck is slow now to me so 35's would drain the life right out of it, but it can be driven and i can live with that until december.

Well If you do regear at least put a front locker in while your at it. You'll regret it further down the road.

I thought the ARB bumper was made more to fit a stock truck? Also that if you wanted to fit bigger tires you would have to grind it down a bit?

Yea I after reading it he said he had to cut the ARB bumper. In that case I would opt for another aftermarket bumper. The ARB is pricy as is then to go and cut it after spending over $1,000, not something I'd want to do.

I like the look but not my personal taste. And your right about the $$$. I'd opt for something from cbi, or a baja bumper. Tube bumpers are my style.

the reason i wanted the arb is for strength i mean i'm taking off a perfectly good bumper to instal the arb. i know they are strong i like the look of them, but i'm not wanting to cut and box anything at all. relentless i would assume that your bumper would make more room or did your bumper need modification as well. because looks wise i like yours the arb and the allpro, but i have heard the allpro bumper is not very strong.

My 4 cyl 5 speed AC prerunner did NOT like 32s, much less would it like 33s or bigger. Had no pull with AC or on frwy. Was a tolerated annoyance.........until I ditched it for an 08 RC prerunner with oem 16s & 30" tires. Keepin it that way this time. No 1200.00 50# tires and at least 23 mpg instead of 17-18mpg.

well today is the day i'm going to call the 4x4 shop and se if they can give me a hand with fitment of the wheels and tires, but today is ground zero here i have to begin ordering stuff if it's going to be here on time for the instal. eric i'm going to check out your build and see whats your talking about with fitting that size tire under there i'm also going to check out your bumpers while i'm there maybe we can work something out on one of those as well. thanks guy's it seems like only the brave are will to attemp the 35 inch tire under a 3 inch lift lol i'm not sure what to do here some of the mods needed look pretty gnarly.

ok the tire size i'm focusing on here is a 295-75-16 this looks like it will require melting and some trimming possibly losing the mud flaps, but this looks like it will work with out mangling the wheel wells all up. the question now is will it require me to modify the arb in any way?

the guy on here blacktacoma23 has been running the pro comp lift same as mine and this is the tire size he is rocking i saw the pictures of where he trimmed and it doesnot look bad it seems like the best comprimise between the look of a wider tire and not having to cut and beat everything back. thanks for all the help here guy's i really appreciate the experience.

wow the bead locks are internal and seperate from the wheel. the wheel itself cost that much becuase of the cost of the wheel itsef and the custom powder coating and the fact that omf machines the face of the rim down then welds a "sim-u-lock " mounting plate so that it actually looks like a bead lock, but also reinforces the wheels structural integrity. thats why they are 600 a wheel. haters gonna hate man, but omf makes some top shelf shit. the walker evens setup is a little out of my price range right this minute, but the trd wheel looks nice as well so i'm going to try to go that route instead. look at filthy motor sports under bead locks they have the internal beadlock set-up, then look up omf you will see the sex i'm talking about.

i believe i'm going to go with the trd tx pro bead look wheels. i believe that they are 4.5 inch off set or what there calling 10mm. i was really hoping to not have to modify the arb in any way.

i really like the arb bull bar i just don't want to have to hack any part of that off lol. but a metal grinder and some line-x i don't think would be the end of the world. yeah i was originally asking about the 35 because i saw a guy who was running them and it did not look like he did much modification at least this is what he is saying. after hearing what you and eric had to say though i'm going to go with the 295-75-16 it works out to be a 33.4 inch/ 11.6/ 16 size i'm planning on buying the toyota fake locks and i believe they are 4.5 inch back spacing i think that with the strong possibility of getting a tad more than three inches they should be ok in there with some trimming and heating things back. i was planning on taking off the mud flaps any way so that no biggie. i'm also considering some type of fender flare i like the look of the pocket flares bushwhacker offers, but i'm not sure or not if they would be better or worse than the factory ones when it comes to contacting the tires.
