I saw him the other day on 275. Didn't dawn on me until I saw that ebay ad again. He too, was headed the opposite direction as me. That thing is a beast!

Gonna try and pick up a LH HL assy this morning. Item had been posted @ the end of April, sent the guy an email last week, he still had it. Had it listed for $125, Offered $50 for it. I think he works in Auto Body, wonder what else he might have...

Finally got that HL today. $50 for a 09 assy, no broken tabs, WITH bulbs, no scratches. Guy said the customer had it replaced b/c of a "scuff" on the outer edge, a scuff that pretty much rubbed off when I ran a thumb over it.

Gonna take it apart tonight, put it back together tomorrow. Thinkin' about using Plasti-dip, I've got some left. Have guys been using that crap to do the BHLM?

looks good! I can't tell if it is the pic angle or not but does the front sit a little lower than rear? I'd wait for the rear to settle a little then adjust the front.

id say plasti-dip is probably the worst idea you could have...

When your headlights are on, theres heat. That plasti is just going to melt.

HaHa. Stupid me. This time I taped the T/S cover, put it in the bezel and painted. Then thought, thats not what I did last time. Then realized why HLs seemed a bit darker than others I had seen...I painted the bowl for the T/S.

At least I caught it before I put anything back together. I had to go to 4 different stores to find a damn can Kylon fusion, no HD, no Lowes, no Meijer, finally wally-world. I know I got my last few cans at meijer...just rustoleum now.

I'm gonna dip my shift console though, it's already out.
