    Texas man's snakes-in-tub record

The world record holder! He even decided to beat his own record without contenders. Let's see an alliance boy do that.

Oh, and just to tie this in to some other discussions. Dublin, Texas is known for more than just the sitting-in-tubs-with-snakes capital of the world. It's also the only place you can get the original recipe Dr. Pepper. Uses real sugar instead of corn syrup.

Stupid would have been if he'd gotten bitten. He didn't. The "hey Bubba, watch this" sorta stupid usually ends in injury.

Mr. Pibb is just a Dr. Pepper wannabe. See the name isn't even original. Honorific plus name beginning with 'p'. I've never had mello yello, so I don't know if I care about missing it or not.

Not to put too fine a point on it, Sawdust, but it's "Hey Ya'all, watch this!" And it generally ends in death, not just mere injury.

I will back you on Dr. Pepper, In-fact I'd like to try the "real" Dr. Pepper, maybe you could mail me a bottle?

And Mello Yello is like a watered down version of Mountain Dew, but with less caffinee, and no radioactivity.

Edit: And bitten or not, doing anything with rattle snakes that doesn't begin with a .357 revolver loaded with snake-shot rounds and ends with a new pair of boots IS STUPID.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it's "y'all". And just for reference, the plural is "all y'all". OK, death is the extreme form of injury. They do have to die to qualify for a Darwin Award.

I think I'm out of Dublin Dr. Pepper right now, however, my folks will be retiring to a small town within an hour of Dublin early next year, so my supply chain is being planned. Ping me in a few months and I'll see if I can hook you up with some. I'm impressed you are asking for a bottle. Cans are much easier to come by, but a true connoisseur knows that Dr. Pepper is best out of a bottle.

OK, I'm not worried about missing Mello Yello. We got Mt. Dew.

A rattlesnake encounter should end not just with a pair of boots, but also with a bowl of chili :)

You too? What's up with this? The alliance makes fun of Texas, but lusts after our hot women and awesome Dr. Pepper.

Like I said, my supply chain should be in place after the first of the year.
