Dude, seriously. Research forced induction before you undertake something like this. And im pretty sure that supercharger isnt going to work.

You are in way over your head! If you're gonna tackle this you need to find a real gear head/engineering type forum to ask that question to. This site is great but I don't see the super charger, air flow, fuel mixture figuring out types hanging round here.

How badly could it end? He's taking a supercharger from a V8 Mercedes to put into a V6 Tacoma...I see nothing wrong with this. ;):p

Just be sure to keep a fire extinguisher around and a video camera constantly recording so we can see it blow up. Thanks!

I think that we need to put together a group buy of video cameras so that things like this can be documented. He might be OK, but it could get interesting.

Yes, you will also need the injectors from a DIESEL Mercedes. They wont want to fit properly at first, but with a little effort you can make it work.

Then, delete the MAF all together, because at this point it really wont make a difference.

Finally...and most important (critical) - You must install the Mercedes hood orniment for it all to work. Make sure you use diesel fuel, otherwise it wont run.

    Good Luck

It's all in my head at the moment...
It amazes me that anyone would waste their time with a response. How many time has the place been "punked" into believing that a one post wonder is going to reverse the rotation of the earth with us watching.

Remember the V-8 into the Tacoma dick. He was getting $30,000,000 from his insurance and was going to use that to put in a V-8 from a Landcruiser. Then he disappeared only to return to apologize in a puddle of well.....you get the point. As soon as the word Mercedes showed up, the plug should of been pulled.

Now that my time has been wasted responding to this....I have to make up for it in the kitchen. The next game is coming on. Yummmmmo!

It's all in good fun. Besides he might actually be on to something and prove us all wrong.

Well, I dont know about the 8 cyl guy, but I have no doubt this guy is the real deal!!! His first post was insitefull, and a solid foundation for future rotation reversal ;) I'm hooked, and like you certainly hope he doesnt punk-out as it would be crushing (to me) after his grande entrance!!

I agree these posts do clutter the site etc., but every now and then you get one like this that you can actually have fun with...lol...

Dolphins are out, so GO STEELERS!!!!
