I was installing the OEM style fog lamp switch, had a little trouble finding the connection. I was also on the "lower deck" of the two panels. Got the lights working great now with the running lights on !

For the non-towing package guys, just FYI don't let Toyota make you think that you have to get a relay from them, ordering one from O'rylies works fine, and $9 vs $78 sold me !

It shouldnt as far as I know. since you're only bending the pin on the fog relay and just adding that wire to the tow relay, I think everything else should remain normal. I haven't noticed any problems with it

If you get the towing relay back in enough that it also has full contact with the electronics in the slot it wont have any problems

None so far hope to change that
    Great Mod Thanks for posting!
Just finished it took 5-10 min like everyone says
Got all the parts for nothing so huge bonus haha

    Warning:
I screwed it up the first time and plugged the wire on the towing relay into the slot above the #3 relay slot.
This had the same effect on bypassing the headlight sensor but it bypassed it completely.
You could turn on the foglights by just hitting the switch on the dash didnt matter if the keys were in or out of the ignition, It made it just a straight foglight switch connected to the battery.
Also it bypassed the headlight sensor completely so the foglights never shut off when you opened the doors etc, so you had to shut them off manually yourself.

Thanks again for the mod truck looks better with the fogs on i think and I cant wait to try it with the highbeams on at night.

Great mod, but if I wanted to tap into the power for the parking lights instead of the trailer lights, does anyone know where that would be? I like to just leave my foglight button on at all times and would love for my foglights to just come on with my parking lights. Thanks in advance.
