    yeah, by the flares needs around a 1/2" gap otherwise it'll stuff into the fender/flares pretty hard when you flex the truck. The frame(and bumper which is attached to it) moves in relation to the body when the truck gets flexed out or when you hit bumps etc.

    The small 'L' brackets(and accompanying 1/4" bolts/washers) are used to mount the fog/driving lights inside the front bumper. They give you all the adjustment you need.
