My friend was asking me today if there was anyway to wire the reverse camera so its on all the time not just in reverse. Anyone have an answer ? Or know how to do it.

How about Stormtrooper117. I could get Star Wars and Halo together. Cause Master Chief would have so kicked Darth Vader's ass.

    God, I'm a nerd.

BE CAREFUL STRIPPING THE WIRES THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THE REAR VIEW MIRROR CAMERA WHATEVER...USE SMALL WIRE LIKE 18G AND GET A SMALL SWITCH.

I did it about a month ago so just my $.02

Why would you want the rear cam on all the time?
Between being pointed down at the bumper and the wide angle lens, it seems pretty worthless to me as a rear-view. And the mirror will still be there anyway in front of your face, unless you plan on taking the mirror apart and putting the screen in your dash and changing the camera lens
