Just got 285/70R17 Trail Grapplers installed!! :D

They rubbed SO BAD as expected so I tried to do as minimal trimming as I could just to get by until the 25th...

So assuming these 885s bump me close to 3".. hopefully theres no need for more trimming. Just in case, ill be bringing a dremmel and saw

I'm gonna have to do some trimming also on Mod Day.. they didn't rub out on the trails surprisingly, but everytime I'm backing up at full turn they rub they run the very outside corners..

Paden: you still in to do the satoshi?.. we just need mesh and some bondo kits. I'll be doing some other stuff to the truck that day too.

Sweet.. that would definitely be helpful. I was going to go to harbor freight and buy a cheapo one.. but if people are bringing tools that will work even better. I'll bring some beer for payment. lol

ive got a bass tube thats nice and compact and hit hard enough for me. instead of mounting it horizontal im gunna make some sort of rack to hold it vertically in the rear corner of the cab so i can hold more guns lol

You could make it fit under the rear seats. Just modify the storage compartment and have it in there. Or.. continue your center console all the way back through the rear.

Ahh.. got ya. Well cool man, regardless I'm sure it will come out good.

After the satoshi I'm looking to get the Chrome surround color matched as well as the rear bumoer. I'll jave to have it media blasted, then painted. Any of you guys know if its a pain im the ass? Money and work wise. Would I be better off just buying a white bumper? Like from a sport? The surround I guess I could do at mod day but not sure if I want to attempt painting yet.

i know you can by colormatched spray paint if you wanted to do it yourself but i dont know how that would turn out but paying a show to paint it would probably cost quite a bit.. running angle grinder over the chrome to scuff it up will be enough for the paint to adhere to just dont grind deep and too long then hit it with self etching primer and regular primer then paint

I was thinking of doing that.. just painting myself. I got a quote for the paint at 120. But thats not including media blast. ive never painted anything Chrome.. I've hardly painted at all so I'm a little worried it will come out like crap. I'll look into it more. Anyways. See you guys out there.

it aint too bad the main thing you have to do is scuff the paint good enough but if you find a bumper on CL or something id probably jump on that.

It doesn't look to difficult but I'm sure I'll need help if anyone knows how to replace the hood. My TRD hood will be back from paint before next Saturday so I wanna put that bitch on as well.
