Sorry to see you go. But good choice on the 6.0 powerstroke.

I still don't understand why you had to buy my rear shocks, but I'm not complaining :D

Because my factory ones where at my moms house which is a couple hour drive from here and I was being lazy and didn't want to go get them. My brother happened to be over there last weekend and picked them up for me so now I'm trying to sell them.

I'm sure I'll still be on here from time to time. I had my eye on a 6.4 powerstroke, but this one was too nice to pass up. It was owned by an older guy that only put 35K miles on it. He was at the dealership taking his stuff out of it when I got called to look at, which was cool because I got to ask him about the trucks history before he left. I actually test drove and made a deal on it before they had a chanceto run it through detail and inspection.

So for work today I've spilled coffee on myself twice, discovered reddit, got bored of reddit, and updated Adobe. 6 more hours to go...

It is playing games with my head. It runs perfectly fine with the exception of my Idle Air Control valve which doesn't seem to be working because the truck doesn't idle up when it starts cold.

As far as oil goes, it still has a little bit of a drip coming from the top end I think. I'm going to buy some dye tonight probably and see if that gets me anywhere. One thing I hadn't thought of was I didn't replace my PCV valve when I reinstalled all my parts. Perhaps this could be making my crank case pressure too high and forcing oil out. Going to replace that tonight as well.

I'm not super worried about anything at this point. The drip is so small an intermittent I'm not worried about it causing me to run low on oil or cause damage to any components. But since it's a brand new engine, I would like it to keep the oil where it belongs if I have the choice. :D

True. Your PCV valve is like $8 bucks change that thing! I decided not to buy an FJ yet... Just going to ship the truck to Portland on Monday and sit on it for a while...

$1.99 at Vatozone  It's such a simple part, purchasing from there doesn't worry me.

You have a sweet truck. There really is very little reason to change unless you want to get into more serious trail running and could benefit from the shorter wheel base. Otherwise they are very similar.

Yeah. I've learned to avoid it somehow. There's no truck I can afford that would make me happier than the FJ and going back to a car is not an option when I have a boat to pull and need an interior that's easy to clean for duck season. :p

Anybody looking for a set of coilovers for their truck? I bought a set of Toytec coilovers and never got around to using them. Hopefully somebody local wants them so I don't have to deal with packaging and shipping them.
