    Would love to hit up Ocotillo, but made plans to go with the family to the fair. A contractor I work with hooked us up with free tickets from Costco. Soon though for sure. I'm anxious about hitting the trails up there again. Don't mind the heat one bit.

    I am getting my truck back from the collision shop tomorrow... and I can't wait to get back to four wheeling! I have had a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee rental (for my work truck), but it was only 2WD and didn't give me any thrills!

    Heat doesn't bother me one bit... but this weekend, the Del Mar Fair and Father's Day are on tap, so may not go east until next weekend... Baja is on tap for 4th of July, however!

    Hey just thought I would introduce myself to all you in Diego. My name is Dave and I am up in Esco. I bought an 06 DC SB TRD sport last month and have been lurking around this site since. I have met a few of you through the classifieds (Matt and Ryan...sorry the covers didn't fit Ryan). I will post some pics once I get some new wheels and rubber....the guy that owned the truck before me took great care of it but had different taste in the wheel dept.....so I am stuck running 22's until I can save up some ducket to get what I want. It is a lesson in humility....it just looks so ghey...thank god for front window tint. It looks even dumber since I put the 2.5" spacers on the front that I bought from Matt. Anyhow...been looking @ the Method 301's or the pro comp 7031's in 16X8 with 285/75/R16's...but a little freaked out that I will have caliper rub issues?! I know that I will have to cut the plastics and already ditched the flaps...but will I have to cut some metal? Will I have to run hub spacers on the front even though I went the cheap route with the 2.5"spacers until I can afford some adjustable shocks? I am sure I will have a bunch of other questions down the road and look forward to meeting and getting advice from you all!
