Yup, I"m working, or attempting to... email just came up and it's acting wierd - not sure anything is going anywhere. Don't want to send any until I'm sure they'll go out (sent a test to and from my hotmail and didn't get either one )

It's usually a little more relaxed when the boss is away

Good Morning! I'm getting paid to sit in a lazy boy and play on my computer. Then get paid to go get lunch and take a nap. Unless of course someone calls 911.... And why do you get to be paid to drink and golf?? I am quite jealous of that.

 

Ruh roh... probably have emails hanging out in cyberspace to never be found..... The station I'm at is our headquarters too. So yeah, it's more relaxed when they big bosses aren't here.

I'm playing in the local hardware stores golf tournament, a 4-man scramble. My company is paying me 8 hours to attend. This will be my 7th time playing in this tourney, and there's a couple holes with free beer and food.

 

Well my emails showed up... guess that means I have to go to work....

I'm so jealous. 9 or 18 holes? They have golf tournaments not far from where I live at Callaway Gardens. From what I hear it's a very hard course. I have not golfed it yet..... Down here there's only a few months that it's actually cool enough to enjoy golfing.

 

I'll be in GA shortly with a ring.

18 holes. 2 groups of 4 on every hole, it's not overly competitive and usually takes about 7 hours to finish followed by steak supper. I'm told this year there's $12,000 worth of prizes, mostly random draws plus the usual long drive, long putt etc. Having to wait 5-10 minutes between shots kind of sucks, but it's better than work.
