HUH I looked all over and none of them said they had anything. Will need to double check.

I agree with you and not trying to argue the fact about caned software. However must of us on here do not have access to a dyno. I am trying to find a solution to the issue of dyno access. Most Caned software is good but as you said not ideal. If I could tun a laptop and watch everything and adjust on the fly would be nice. However not everything we want we get =( LOL

I'm sure the 2002 is badass, but i'm way more interested in the 88 :) I love those cars. I love beamers but i started loosing interest around the mid 90's models, i think the older ones are much better built. Although old M3's have alot of problems. I'd like to get another e30 325i and sink some money into it for the weekends. out of your two M's which one do you like more?

Sorry for off topic here guys.

I love the little E30 but I am 6'5 so it is more like a go cart. She needs some work to be new again so I am am actual selling her. Not by choice but I will get another one later maybe.

I actually like my 2002 more. I have it modified to the hills and then some. When you can out run a 360, corner better than a ford gt and just keep ahead of a gt3 then ya I like that ;-)

Out handling a ford gt should not be a problem at all for that car. They're quick cars but their reputation is for handling, not speed. BTW, after seeing the pic of the e30 i think i need to change my pants! That is a beautiful car! one thing i like about the e30 is that the body style was mean. When you have a lowered e30 behind you and you look in the rear view mirror it looks like its pissed at the world and could beat your ass at any minute. The M3's even moreso with the fender flares. Dude, i seriously love your car, it looks like it could eat me alive. The newer body styles just dont do it for me. What kind of problems do you have with it?

P.S. dont worry about hijacking the thread, it happens to most threads on this site :)

007: Dude, i dont know what you're talking about. You and i are the worst offenders on the site as far as hijacking threads and neither one of us has carried our conversation over to another forum. We just keep on talking till we get bored :)

My question is: Does it pay to fool with a `06 4.0 auto TRD,Off road access cab if you only drive it 2,000 mls. a year or less?

What I need to know is do I need to know?

I have 07, 4.0 auto, double cab. I am going to be modding before I hit 1K. I moded a prius for peet sake. ROFL

In CA the dealer can't void factory warranty unless you actually take the motor apart with some exceptions of course. If you do all bolt on items they can't. That includes a SC. Of course if something goes south with a SC then you most likely are Fed unless it is TRD.

m3dragon: I like you're new M3 but not half as much as i like the old one. they look to refined to me (although i'm sure its one hell of a ride). If your ever in Greenville SC let me know, i'll let you ride while i take it out for a spin ;)

Hmm....So MAF calibration is the way to go? And there are no performance chips out there that inspire confidence? I assume much of the basics here would be the same for any model. Really need to find a direction to go in with my 2000 2.7/4cylGreen Bean Taco.

The M3 is very cool, (I really like it) however every car has its place. You name the time and I'll name the place and we can go for pinks. Ground clearance would definitely have to be a factor in my selection of places.

If you want fast or you want utility you decide on what you buy. It's not one over the other, it's what you need. Pick what suites you and buy that.

MAF calibrator is the best bet over performance chips. URD should have installation guides for many model tacomas so you'll know which wires to hook into.

Hmm I installed the MAF Calibrator today. I took it out just now. My truck would start up then die right away. I will fly gadget up to Canada someday when i win the lottery and get him to hook it up. I geuss I wasted $250.
