So I go my truck New back in 08, but couldn't really do mods because it was a lease. So i started doing hidden/easily removeable mods. My first mod was tinting it limo on the back windows and dark on the sides. Man what a difference, so much more pleasant driving around in so cal and i think it improves the look of the truck.

I don't have any pics from my truck when it was new in a digital form so heres one outside of hinkley,ca before the tint and one after also outside of hinkley.
gotta rep toyota with the fj too lol

    how it sits currently

Then i got bored and found TW worst move of my life lol.
I read up on shifters and how they improved the shifts and feel and all that. Glad i went with the URD short shifter night and day difference. pretty easy to install.
Any body who is installing one on a 2.7 make sure you get out all six bolts befor smacking the shifter with a hammer. Not that i did that or anything:eek: I got deeper into this thing then i thought so this is the only picture i have during the install, but it might help someone so here it is

I was disapointed with the stereo from day one, but since i didn't want to tear apart the whole truck to unistall a system for lease inspection i went with the rear speaker mod. GSM did a great writeup and even made me some sick boxes, i just went ahead and sprayed them black no one harldly sees them anyway. I also bought those expensive toyota harness plug in wires so i wouldn't have to splice anywhere(the green wires). I put in some 6.5 coaxial performance teknique speakers in the boxes.

My bro wrecked his taco:( so i stole his exaust off it before the insurance could:D So i got a free Doug Thorley Catback, very easy to take on and off and the fit is good. It sounds cool and pisses people off:woot:[IMG]

This Thanksgiving i Decided to test my truck out at Dumont
Dunes. It did alot better then i expected once i dropped the rear tires to 7 psi. Momentum is definately the key though

I thought i got out unscathed but a couple months later i had my truck on an alignment rack and found this. I guess the whoops are mean out there lol

My dad decided to take my little brother hunting and found the only mud hole in the dessert. He called the taco towing agency, i was halfway expecting me to end up getting stuck as well, but i was able to pull him out and then go play in the mud puddles.[IMG]

Cool, more RCs. Just recently traded my 05 AC for 08 RC SR5 5speed/buckets/console. ^^^ Diggin the pyrite action. Not lifting mine this time. Just did TRD Bilsteins with Toytec 1/4 tp spacers. Likin the 16s instead of the 18s this time too.

Also diggin the OP green truck. Feel lucky to have found what I wanted no matter the color.

Got the URD shifter kit to go on it that never made it onto the 05 silver AC. Here's the exception to the rule that procrastination is a problem. Now I can just put it on the 08 instead. Woohoo!

Awhile back i got a sweet deal on some black TRD floormats on here from krytikel I love the rubber they have under the pedal because i wore holes in the stock ones right there. In this picture you can also see my obx pedals and my Long Gas Pedal Mod [IMG]

Well Sunday night a had some free time so me and my cousin tried to see if we could put on my AFE stage 2 on in 30 minutes or less. Almost but no cigar, had to cut the maf sensor bolts down and then run to the 24 hour autozone for a length of pcv hose to make a smooth U with because the one for the head vent with the intake just kinked.

It sounds bad ass when i get high in the rpms, but maybe its loud down low to and i can't tell because of my exhaust. I can't really notice a power difference but it seems like on the freeway i have an easier time holding a steady speed. At least it looks cool under the hood. I had a guy in a civic checking it out at autozone lmao.

If I could have any color, I would have picked that mica green. Or that darker blue.

Considering blacking some stuff at all? You could make that thing look pretty sic with just some badges and HLs done.

Mine already had the gas pedal cut short when I got it so question....what did you do to keep the gas pedal cover from coming off the shortened gas pedal? I have same set of pedal covers taken from my 05 but haven't done the gas pedal yet because it seems like it wouldn't stay without putting a sheetrock screw thru cover and pedal.

My bro had the Indigo blue lol check my pics. I have a black set of rims in my garage i need to put on. I kind of like my chrome emblems but thought about blacking them. It seem like i'm more unique with chrome than black badges because everyone and their brother is doing it, but yeah i thought about headlights but i live in california and don't want to get pulled over for the black heads or tails, but it would look good like that. I want to get a set of those factory smoked lights so they'd be legal.

I told Toyota not to touch my damn pedal and signed five legal liability waivers so far lol. So its still factory length under the cover. My bad if i misled you. I don't see why you couldn't screw it in with a small screw or maybe epoxy.

I did that too on the 05 ac but this one already had it cut:mad: Not sure how good epoxy would hold since the back of the cover is rubber and the gas pedal is plastic. Probably just gonna put a skinny sheetrock screw thru the top in between the rubber dots. Unless I can score the japanese version uncut from a junkyard.
