although this is way past the group buy, ordered the 13 inch case 2.25" in and out today (don't see a need to get the 2.5"?). Ordered around 5pm and they had it shipped within 2 hours! great service and ultra easy. The video of the black taco on wicked flows website convinced me to buy, sounds so much better (atleast on the vid) than magnaflow. won't be able to get it on for about another 2 weeks or so when i get paid again since i used this paycheck to buy it and an AFE drop in, but i will patiently be waiting haha

I was using stock muffler then went 18" Magnaflow. Heard / read about Wicked Flow and went with the 13" never looked back.

IMO the sound became deeper and more throathy. I know Bear stated that there is no "break-in" period but it sounded well aged after a year. Good product and CS from Bear and company.

You guys have been awesome. Most people would look at our product strictly as a knock off, and would compare it to the Magnaflow. In reality, ours does have a sound all its own. I use them on my own vehicles, sounds way better than the Magnaflows I used to have. To each there own of coarse.

For those that are interested, we do have a new muffler. It sounds a bit like a FM 40 series, but slightly louder. It flows more freely too. Just be advised that they look a bit "unique". They are all stainless steel construction, but they will give you a FM like sound without any of the drawbacks of a FM. The discount code works on them too. For anyone that feels the WickedFlow 13" muffler is still too quiet, consider the Kamikaze mufflers instead. http://www.bearriverconverters.com/...tagoryPK=d04afb0b-e37e-48a2-b843-dec53af96c75 Be advised, they are still more expensive than the WickedFlow MAX series, mostly because they are more complicated to make. They are made by WickedFlow, and are backed by the same warranty.

^^^ interesting design, why exactly is it that way? And personally i thought the Magnaflow sound was better than the flowmaster sound. Deep and smooth i think is better than raspy crackle and drone. The straight through magnaflow design was louder than the FM 40 on my old truck too...Sorry to compare your products to others, but haven't used yours yet haha

By splitting the exhaust stream into several paths, then recombining it, it deepens the tone, while removing some of the rasp. It is flow directional, and has a small disk located in the outlet side that helps it muffler the sound to stay well within legal levels. The design means no significant restrictions, no baffles, and no packing. It is also lightweight. Simplicity. The drawback is they are complicated to build, hence the price, but they are all stainless steel, and the compact size makes them versatile. The complete information can be found on the product listings.
