    thanks! and i agree that malinois are great dogs aswell, my dad still has his girl IIRC.

    Border collie? I had one for 8 years. By far the smartest and most well behaved dog I had ever been around. Coyotes killed him on January first of this year. Beautiful dog.

    Yep she's definately border collie with stubbornness and attitude. We got her from a shelter when she was 10 weeks old. Shes a very good dog; smart, well behaved and lets us know if someone comes to close to the house. Sorry to hear you lost yours to a coyote. When I was growing up my dad had a male border collie that was supposedly 1/4 coyote.

    I use clicker training. My border collie picked it up immediately. My new lab is a bit more stubborn. He's a good dog though. Good luck with her.

    my new beagle mut pups. got them from the pound as they were about to kill them. they are litter mates and have been together from birth. brown faced one is chase, and the black faced one is snoopy. chase is one hell of a hunter as well.
