On the way back on I4 I tested my new phones camera and the pics look pretty good. One I used a fish eye effect. Not that great of a fish eye but hey its a phone.

hmm, so it seems like Bilstien released a new shock about a year ago, but didn't really advertise them much. I just came across them today. they look to be on the same or close to the same level as the fox/king/icon/etc reservoir shocks. apparently the main tube is based on the 5100, with similar internals (that is the only part that worries me). if they are rebuildable/revalveable however, I may toss them into the pool for consideration as my next shock. anyone else have any knowledge of these?

Edit: looks like the 5160 is stock application, and the 5165 is the "universal" fit where you choose your length. so i gues i'm looking at the 5165s.

From what ive heard most Bilstien's aren't rebuild-able but they don't need to be. I'm pretty sure if they wear out and need rebuilding you can just send them back to Bilstien and they will replace them under the lifetime warranty

acording to the video, the 5165s are rebuildable if you order the replacement endcap to the reservior with the nitrogen charging port. i'm not really concerned about them wearing out. i'd just like to have the ability to rebuild them so i can revalve them. they come digressively valved, which i've enjoyed the characteristics of on the icons, however they just aren't valved aggressively enough for the extra weight on the truck. and unfortunately the 2.0 icon rears aren't rebuildable. the new 2.5s are though

Any imput on this or should I just do dsm uca's ome and 285/75/16 and wheel spacers?

Also should I get the DSM uca's or light racing? There is positives for both. I've hears the dsm requires lubing lol.
