    It does sounds pretty good.

    It has mellowed out now, and sounds bad ass.

    well that stinks. i thought they would be the same being that both have the 3.4. i suck at 1st gen/4runner stuff :eek:

    Since installing the deckplate mod and the muffler, I've seen a significant increase in gas mileage. My last tank (first tank with both deckplate and muffler) I got 18.5 MPGs (I use 91 octane as well) mixed city and highway with the windows down at times and the AC on at other times. :p


    I previously got 16.5-17.5 MPGs.


    I can't wait to take it up to Portland later this summer so I can see how it does with all highway miles. :)

    Nah I'm not a doucher that revs my engine super loud. :p


    I keep my RPMs low and just go the speed limit, that's the key. :thumbsup:



    I hate when people complain about gas mileage, but then go 75, 80, 85+ MPH on the freeway or take off from a stop really quick. Changing the way you drive is the easiest way to save gas. :)
