ok well I used spare tail light tint on my fogs and it works fine but you NEED heat if you have a heat gun that would be perfect. This film gets very stretchy whenn warm. Your going to need to peel back to the spot with the fold and on any spot where theres a curve (like the headlight where it folded) you should use the heat gun or blow dryer and pull it tight but not too tight because it can rip. I would have taken the headlights off for this though. Hope this helps

Edit: with the heat gun or blow dryer just apply the heat over the general area, dont hold it right on the problem spot. wouldnt hold the heat on for more then a couple seconds, it stretches easily with more heat. Good luck!

I tried to put Lamin X on my wife's new Sienna....FAIL.

THe stuff is cut a bit small so you need to really tack down one side and stretch it out to get it on right. What you can do is mix up some baby soap and water in a spray bottle and try to spray it under the fold and try to squeegee it out. That's about all you can do with this stuff. If you let it dry and pull it off, the adhesive wears out and it will be hard to get it to stick back on the car. Good luck.

I'd be tempted to try and peel it back a little, I reapplied mine many many times, pulling it back a lot to make sure there were no wrinkles and it stayed fine. BUT might be different for you. IMO I'd rather have it look stock then lock like its done wrong

I tried these too & had same issues. Heat gun resolved it for a while, then they started bubbling in the same spot & peeling away. Fail!!

I love lamin-x stuff is the balls, just NEVER buy the pre cuts.. so much easier buying the universal pieces just spray it up good use a hair dryer or heat gun and it will suck itself right to the lense then just trim the access off.

im thinking thats a great idea. im leaving the headlight pieces on for now.. even though it looks like total garbage.. and im going to order universal pieces and trim it myself. the foglights went on easy and look great though
