    Fink, I took it through an automatic car wash and I guess the combo of the pressure and the brushes chipped it/peeled it off a lil bit in a few places.

    I took my truck through the car wash the other day and totally forgot about the damn CB antenna...

    Holy hell that was a show! It ripped out of the rubber holder I had holding the antenna down so it was getting all caught up in the brushes and the track for the washer. Then it somehow ripped off my tennis ball too. So I had to open the back slider window mid wash and grab the antenna and jam the end into the gap between the tailgate and the body while water is now hitting me in the face and all over my speaker box. Good thing it's covered.

    Tennis ball was soon recovered. Ended up behind the cooler in the corner of the bed. And just made a new rubber piece for it so all is well. Just have to remember to take the damn thing off next time.

    They suck. I use them to get the main crap off. But will always go back and hand wash it.

    Or when the gas station down the street offers 20 cents off per gallon of gas for buying the $6.99 car wash.

    I always wash and spray wax my truck. But yesterday I had the garage so I pulled it in and did some compound wax and the truck looks amazing. Might clay bar it soon to see what that will do.
