    good.

    bad.

    1. raptors get about 6-8 mpg less than we get, and we dont exactly get very good gas mileage.
    2. we dont live in an area where a raptor is a practical off road vehicle. you would scratch it to hell if you took it to stokes or wharton, and if you didnt off road it.. well then why the hell would you buy it.
    3. you have a perfectly good tacoma to make bad ass, if you would start spending more money on it. and the raptor, even if you could find one used, would still cost more than what you paid for the taco + doing bumpers, skids, winch, lift, whatever else.

yea it will def be a sweet trail rig...and yes the pedal goes straight to the floor....last time i did it i got a lil bit of pressure built up but nothing i would say i could drive on...i guess il check the lines and the flex hoses to see if anything is jacked up...if not i might have to ask a buddy to come fix it and pay him  haha so much for the "project" then lol

agreed, raptors are cool...if you like ford....but the thing i dont get is people around here buying them. you cant use them for what they are built for around here. your much better off building your taco for the type of wheeling and terrain in our area.

well if i were to have a raptor, i would def wheel the fuck out of it all over the country, on all sorts of terain.

boyd, she may as well be. she dont know when, but she def knows, she is getting a ring, prob by the end of the summer, or when i finally pick out the stone and the ring. she wants a 4 runner sooooo bad and i will make it happen for her. i figure, i cant find a contractor to take my $$$$$ for the deck...lol so i will get her the truck. prob use her escape as a daily driver, and make the taco a little more bad ass less road friendly. but a locker and marlin crawl box are a necessity since its a manual and requires more skill than anyone in here has to wheel, except maybe anthony ;)

but i am a speed racer at heart and thats where the bike comes in to play, but a bad ass truck that comes warrantied is kind of cool. just ask josh :)....just playin, not really, but i am

Yea I do agree the fact that it SHOULD have a warranty is pretty cool, but I bet they would pull the same shit toyota did if you messed something up.
If you lived in so cal, I'd say get it, but in hopatcong, nj... raptors are useless (for offroad)

And speaking of your deck again... you still never uploaded pics of what you have and what you want done. I may be willing to make you buy me beer

do the toytec ultimate lift kit. its still billstien 5100s but its a way better set up. I wish I had it because now with the added weight the front end is sagging. I'll have to get new coil springs now.

Ome- old man emu suspension. That's what ALOT of people are using instead of 5100s.
886- Ome springs. there are different springs for different weight front ends. Since I have a heavy front I need stronger springs. You with a stock bumper would not need 886, but 884 or 885

What do you mean full lift?
You saw my truck with stock tires and 5100s. And you saw dales truck with toytec ultimate lift kit ( 5100s with eibach springs and an adapter to make them adjustable, similar to the more expensive coilovers

all adjustable coils in the north east are going to be hard to adjust once on the truck..... yoiu must take the oreload off them to adjust them more easier......
go 5100's up front and an all in rear.....
    done for under 300

Yea but look at an emus legs.. They know all about lifts.

Picking suspension is dependent on what you want to do in the future. I never expected to have a steel plate bumper, skids, sliders, and soon a winch. If I'd known that I would've spent more originally to get better suspension that can be adjusted to deal with added weight.

Keep in mind that Scotts is a lease, so his poor mans lift might not be what you want if you plan to keep it for a while, but if you don't plan to add any extra weight to it, then it would work
