Does the locatin of the tcai make it vulnerable to wet conditions, say if i was raining wouldn't it suck up water?

According to the paperwork that comes with the TCAI, the only thing which might harm the engine is submerging it in water (ie. river crossings, etc.) It says that it has been tested in heavy downpours, snow, etc.

Correct, rain and stuff like that while driving won't be enough to cause harm.

What do you everytime you wash your taco? Do you have to cover it up? I know everytime I wash mine, I spray tons of water in the radiator just to clean all the bugs and dirt out of it.

Anyone that have this have an issue at all? I'm in the midwest and when it downpours it comes down! I can't imagine it having a good airflow without taking in some water during a heavy rain or hitting a flooded area without slowing.
