First show I ever saw was Elton John in 1971. No costumes, no glasses, just jeans and a flannel shirt and a good show. Time has not been good to him.:rolleyes:

    I have seen them 4 times now and there will be a few more added to it over the summer. I have been to a TON of shows over the years and this is one of THE best bands I have seen live. A lot of energy, very entertaining and their music just hits me like nothing I have heard since the first time I heard Pantera back in '91.

    Plus they are some of the coolest and nicest guys you will meet! Catch them at a small place and they will more than likely be out after the show. My wife bugged Jon, the drummer, for a drumstick and he was out. We saw them a couple nights later at a different venue . After the show my wife cornered Jon again, he remembered her but was once again out of sticks. He then said "Wait here a minute." He returned with a drum head he and the rest of the band signed for her.

    I saw Metallica 4 times. All of them were And Justice For All and earlier (when they were still good IMO). One of the shows they were opening for Ozzy. RIP Cliff!

    Sidenote: Volbeat was picked by Lars Ulrich to open for them along with Machine Head on their US tour a couple years ago. They are from Lars' home country of Denmark.
