Did the first WOD of sectionals. That was a lung burner. Thought I would do a little better but around the 6 min point I was struggling to breathe.

I ended up with 5+20. Which apparently isn't that good. I keep falling down in ranking.

15 AMRAP? Keep your head up Brandon. Just that you're competing is awesome. Shit's no joke. Get your mental game tight and you'll be aight. Bustin out rhymes without wasting any time

Sorry, I left out the time frame. It was 10 min AMRAP.
It's definitely as much mental as it is physical.

I was pulling for 6 rounds. The top athletes are getting high 8's low 9 rounds. There ability is mind boggling. I'm hoping over the next 5 weeks there will be a wod that plays to my strengths and I can make up some ground.

Reebok is under the impression that crossfit is something they stand for or believes in their motto or something silly. Whatever the case they are footing the bill for the $250k first place winner. Last I saw there were 20,000 registered athletes competing this year.

I really hope yall haven't all given up on Crossfit! I've missed you guys. Been laid up sick in bed all week, but I am more than motivated to get up and doing something once I get better. Think I am going to incorporate some modified Crossfit stuff again (like last go round) and add in some miles on the bike.

Btw, if anybody is interested, this group my friend's started is what has me itching to get back on the bike. I definitely don't willingly run/walk for exercise. Link to the thread below.
Not trying to spam this thread or anything, just the guys I remember on here were pretty serious about their training. :)

I always wanted to do that, but since Im not in Fire any more I cant :pout:

I havent been doing crossfit, my schedule only allows for like maybe 2 days a week, and I just cant justify that kind of money for only 2 days. I am going to start doing my own thing though, my apartment has some dumbells, so I was thinking of buying/building a box and trying to use just those things lol.
