    Hey rmWise,

How did you do your wheels? Paint, or did you have them done?
They look good, along with your tail lights.

I was thinking about doing that to some aluminum jeep wheels for a TJ.

The BHLM scares me just thinking about trying it.

I wasn't sure if I would like the wheels black, so I just plasti-dipped them. I'm going to drive around with it for a while... if I like it I'm going to have them powdercoated. Like all plasti-jobs, you can see flaws if you get closer than a couple feet away, but it'll do for now. I do like how they match with my tail lights/emblems.

Funny coincidence, I have an '86 Jeep CJ7 I was thinking about doing at the same time, but I didn't have time to get to those wheels.

I have the original headlights that I took off my truck a few months ago. Passenger side is cracked, but driver side is fine. If you want to try doing the BHLM, I'd give you the lights to practice on as they're just sitting in the basement taking up space. That way if you screw it up, you're not out anything. However, if you get it right you may have to help some of us out with ours eventually :)

Does anyone here hate Dodge City as much as I do? I've been stuck out here for 8 weeks now for work.

I think I got gas there once.

For the truck that is. So I can't say too much about it but I did know a girl who grew up there and she was very happy when they moved.

I've done some work there a few years ago for a previous employer. Stayed about 3 days. And that was 3 days too long. Absolutely nothing to do. Of course that was before the casino was built, so at least they have that.

That wasn't me, I haven't been out east in weeks. Probably my buddy that lives east but works over at marine world, his truck gets mistaken for mine a lot. Silver off-road with black wheels but they are different then mine, but it my have been someone else too?

Guys, I like that our banner pic from the dune trip in March is still holding its ground up there.^ Josh is pulling out Mark in his Jeep at Waynoka, that was a good time.

Sounds great. I leave for vacation this Sunday, and will be back on Monday the 4th. Anytime after that would work for me.

    Hey All
TacoBlitz from Omaha is going to be in Tuttle this weekend... just thought I would pass this along. I'd think about it but I have to get ready for my trip up to Wyo NEXT weekend.

Aaron! Did I see you going West on 235 yesterday?

Also just went though derby and saw a white access cab (2nd gen) with black flares and wheels towing a boat. Looked badass.

Overall, I really like it. The two things I'm most impressed with so far are the iPod integration and controls, and the Bluetooth connectivity for your cell phone. The call quality is excellent. I also like that you can hear the person you're speaking with through all of the truck's speakers, rather than just one like most units. It hasn't dropped any calls, cut out, nothing. The people I've been talking to say it sounds excellent on their end too.

I was skeptical as to how good Bluetooth phone quality could really be when ran through a Kenwood head unit, but they nailed it. It's great. On a side note, it's much better than the factory system in my girlfriend's 2011 Camry SE.
