Took a cue from ItalynStylion and mounted 2 eights under rear seat . Polk MM . Used the factory bin for a mold and made mine a drop-in . Looks like it came from toyota . Very clean . Had to raise the front of the rear bench 2" but the only metal I had to remove was the jack bracket . I moved it to the passenger front fender under the hood . Will post some pics when I get a chance .

I'll eventually find the time to post more pics of my system...but here's my single Image Dynamics ID10v3 Sub in a ported enclosure made my Mr. Marv (who did an excellent job)! It's ported for 30Hz (using 1.2 cu ft) and it fills in the low end perfectly!

It's not the best thing to look at because all I did with the box was spray it with a couple cans of the black bedliner stuff. I don't compete in anything outside of my auditory satisfaction and the smile on face!

Here is the box just after Mr. Marv finished it:

Got my system installed last week. Really happy with my mr. Marv box. Still need to cut the rear pockets out to put the suurounding trim back in and get rid of some serious rattles. I think it is caused by the box moving slightly because it rattles over bumps and when the bass is cranked up. I can get a hold of some rubber sheets or a pack of dynomat and throw it between the box and the sheetmetal of the cab and that should fix it right up.

Only thing I don't like about the system is the ipod controls. Only thing you can do is change the track from the headunit. There is no other navigation other than that. An upgrade is in the future.

2x alpine type Rs shallow mount
    Mr. Marv box
    Alpine 1200w mono amp
    Alpine headunit CDA-105?

    Pics tomorrow hopefully!

This is going to be my system when I sell the box I have now:
    Sub-woofer box
    http://supercrewsound.com/commerce/product.jsp?prodId=78&catId=69

    Subs:
    http://www.crutchfield.com/s_1368W3V34/JL-Audio-8W3v3-4.html?search=JL+Audio+8W3

    Amp:
    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KAC...nvpair=AG_Number_of_Channels|FFMono_Subwoofer

Anyone have first hand experience with these subs? I'm not worried about buying them because I know I will be getting the JL quality but how's the SPL on them? Also according to JL's specs I could add some 2 inch around pvc piping 18in long for a port. Any tuning guru's that can verify this.

The box volume and port are a good match. However, the box maker states 4" depth of the woofer and the woofer you spec is like 4.75" (IIRC).
