need gears

    does anyone out there have a set of 4.10 new gears out of a 2011 taco?need a set cant wait for yukon to come out with theirs.dont want to do 4.56 or 4.88.4.11 would be perfect but cant be picky.i need as few miles as possiable on them.:D:rolleyes::):confused:

    What size tires are you running? The difference between 4.10 and 4.56 is pretty minimal

    im runnin 285-65-18 with pro comp 6-inch lift.

    Thats about a 33" tire

    I run 4.56 on my 33" and I think its perfect. I am fitting 35"s now - I hope I am still happy with 4.56...

    Uh. It's beat to he//. But it's only 1 owner.
    Custom body work/damage ARB rear locker Bumpers Shocks Other parts Tires and Rims Air tank fully plumbed into truck "Golf ball mod"
    I am running 285's on my pickemup, I also am looking for a set of 4:11's for it. yeah, 4:11 to 4:56 isn't that big of a jump. but 3:73 to 4:56 is a pretty big difference (a .83 difference). going to the 285 did bog my truck down a bit and want just enough of a change in ratio to gain a little bit of the "oomph" back.
    I refuse to pay $917 each for front and rear gears from the stealership.

    I went from 3.73 to 4.56 and I have to say that I love it. Running a 33" feels like it is turning the stock tire and I have plenty of power. If you wheel you will see a difference in your ability to crawl easier or difficult obstacles.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    4.10's are a perfect match for 33's and the V6. You are increasing the gearing by 10%, and tire size by about 6%, so the 4.10's will make you slightly "over geared" for the tires......which is great, as the factory slightly under gears vehicles. Look for some gears from a 2.7 equiped second gen Tacoma. You can find them in the For Sale section from time to time.
