    Things like that aren't funny once you've been there.

    That's why the firefighter, police officer, and EMT in Steph's post didn't like the video.

    When you're young, it's just another image like the thousands of fictional ones you've seen on TV. The experience isn't there.

    I used to think it was exciting to see an emergency vehicle with lights and siren go by and I used to listen to them on a radio scanner.

    Then, one day, the ambulance came to my house.

    Now, seeing an emergency vehicle running code makes me sad and I don't listen to the scanner any more.

    It was either buy them already coated black or unfinished and have them coated with a few other things I was getting done. I chose to have them coated.

    Sorry haven't made it to the level of painting my engine cover like you. I will try harder.
