    Mine didn't have the blue plastic bumpers on the side....before that we use a really thick clear plastic construction tarp with a hose running on it..not quite the same thing.

    This is the best thread ever, so many great memories. Our generation kinda bridged the gap between playing outside and growing up along with computers and video games. By the time I was 8 or 9 I was all over town on my bike and playing outside until dusk. Nowadays kids don't do that and it seems sad at times. Some have said the worst thing to happen to our country was the milk carton program which made many parent too scared and paranoid to allow their kids to play outside bc someone might "kidnap" them. Definitely a simpler time growing up in the 80s. No major conflicts like previous gens (wwII and Vietnam), however the cold war and the ICBM threat was very real.

    If by "collect", you mean "haven't thrown my original stuff away"...then yes. not sure if any of the console or cartridges are in working order though
