The Rims are Cragar D-Windows, 15"X7" 5X4.5 lug pattern, 0 offset, 4" Backspacing, 26 lbs. I don't have any more pictures now but I'll take some whenever I get it nice and clean again

    Look at build!

Just pull off the Ac control knob for defrost and trim the orange piece of plastic that stops the knob from going past the defrost selection and your done!

    sorry for the :threadjacked: OP

I have no clearance issues with the spindles... they bring the wheels down and out so you could probably fit bigger tires than with a spacer. The spindles are 3" and I got them from performancelifts.com. The shackles are from member Beefed Taco. I believe the defrost without AC mod is in the cheap/free stickied thread in the 1st gen forum.

    And now for the pictures:

I added wheel spacers in the back to even out the track width since the last update.

How much lift did that shackle give? Exactly how much longer is the shackle compared to stock?

How big of a spacer are you running in the rear?

Lastly, can you snap a picture of the spindle to rim/tire clearance? I'm curious as to how much clearance there is for a wider tire since fabtech calls for rims with a 1/4" less back space than what you're running.

Sorry for all the questions. :D

Keep it up. Your build is looking good.

Sorry I went out and took pics right away and forgot to put them up. The shackles are 2" longer than stock. I have 1.5" spacers in the rear.

I'd say there's about half an inch there. I talked to someone on live help on the performancelifts website and they said they have had people report that stock wheels worked with the spindles but they "could not recommend or condone it"

It's basically just legal bullshit. You're fine with any wheels.

Nope it just barely clears. I'd say at full flex it probably dinks the exhaust but there's enough give in the exhaust hanger that it doesn't cause any problems.

    I gots more stuff done!

FINALLY got the damn sub put in after it was sitting in the basement for 2 years collecting dust

    2011-06-17_01-04-50_805_047be3b5acc7312604a561d90e66dfd4c7bdb41e.jpg

I decided to take the jump seat out completely and relocate the jack as the hole under there is eternally sealed now. It is a great place to tuck excess wires though...

I'm extremely satisfied with it and am thoroughly enjoying being the jackass kid who everyone gives dirty looks at stop lights as my mirrors are shaking to the point of not functioning :)

Just went out and measured. The wheel well to front of the exhaust tip is right at 15". The shackle to exhaust tip is about 1.25" when sitting level on the ground.
