Dirt clod fights were the norm in our neighborhood.

Tree forts...........and when the grass in the empty lot next door became 4 feet tall we would throw a sheet of plywood into the grass as far as possible so it would flatten an area we could hide in on our stomachs. Then we would crawl out of the grass making a passageway. Worked perfect for hiding during cowboys and indians or NINJAS, or playing war.

I remember seeing one of those!

I thought I was going to die if I didn't get one of these (I guess that's semi-90s, sorry if that's breaking the rules). I never did, and surprisingly I'm still alive

and as everyone else has said, the Big Wheel was the best toy ever. I got pissed when I grew too tall and heavy to ride mine. I went through two of them and literally burnt the front wheel in half from use.

Sorry if I'm digging up several pages back, I'm trying to catch up.

Hey, where were all of you hosers when the space shuttle Challenger launched with the school teacher aboard?
January 1986 I was in the 5th grade, Mrs. Trujillo's class- watching it happen live. Wow, that was some heavy shit to a kid.
