I think he's trying to make fun of the Nissan for being on a roll-back

I'm not sure why...i've seen plenty of people post pics of their trucks here on roll backs...and we arent even sure this truck is broken...

Don't know the backstory, it was a regular tow rig, not a repo rig, saw him on the freeway on the way home and snapped the pic.
My bro works for a tow company and he drives a flatbed like that one. There are thousands of tacos out here and he's told me that the only time he's had a tacoma on his rig is if the tacoma was in an accident.

I love my truck as much as the next guy, but I still realize that it is not god's gift to man... Mine could break down at any minute too

Quite true, but you buy the best vehicle you can and hope for the best. Me, I talked to mechanics, dealer shop guys and the most telling is tow truck drivers, no amount of hyperbole can hide the fact that some vehicles end up on tow trucks 'cause they break down ALOT. Beemers, benzes, jags, alot of the domestics. I ran into a Toyota service guy at a gas station and I razzed him 'cause he was driving a Titan, he said he was borrowing it to move and that he wanted a taco, I asked him if he sees these in the shop much and he said only for normal servicing.

That is plenty good reason to get one then. Mine was based mostly on my lifestyle and the fact that I owned a 1st gen and it went through ANYTHING... I personally believe that most any vehicle now a days can last well into the hundreds of thousands of miles as long as they are taken care of.

I do the sign work for a large automotive network with multiple brands. I was talking to the service manager at one of their Chevy dealerships and he told me he used to manage the service department at their Toyota dealership, and hated it. He said they mostly dealt with routine service, not the big money stuff like they get a lot of at Chevy.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but most vehicles that have a malfunction get towed this way. There are plenty of pics just like this, but with Tacomas on the back, on this site alone.

I hear ya Chris and I agree, My bro has towed thousands of cars over the years and he knows what they are being towed for because if he can solve their problem without a tow he will. Basically any model he sees over and over again is junk, period.
Edit: I'm not implying that the Frontier is junk, honestly I never even considered getting one, I had an 85 toyo that i loved and really only wanted a taco. I could have bought a full size dodge, chevy or ford new, cheaper than what i paid for my taco. But I do love a little good-natured ribbing!
