17 more for full GB prices! I dont know when the start date is, but I think when I get around 15 sets interested then I will give it 20 days for ppl to jump in. At the end of the 20 days, I will send out invoices. At the beginning of the 20 days I will start putting prices on the list so ppl will have a general idea of what they will be paying given the current number of kits.

Btw how do the BiXenon Hi/Lo work?

 

^bi xenon is one bulb that has low and high beam HIDs

 

The bixenon works by running a relay harness with the bulb. When you flip on your hi beams, the harness plays it's role and moves the bulb out to trigger the hi beam

 

Does it move it or just run more power through it? Are the bulbs easy to find?

 

It just moves the bulb. Ya pretty much any HID company sells them. Some places more expensive than others

 

Got it, last question... Is there an option for a Cut-Off for reflector headlights? Slimcubby offers Cut-Offs with his.

The H4 bulbs have a metal "shroud" on them that helps the light not to "scatter" as bad

 

Not 100% sure, but from the pics of that light on google images you'd probably have to drill a hole in the back of the housing. The bulbs come with grommets to make the hole water and dust tight

Hi/Lo is only 35/55 watt... I would go 5000K

 

So what's the big deal about the "slimcubby" HIDs? What makes them worth being so expensive?

 

I've yet to find a definitive answer. I have the 6000K bulbs and ballast and then a 4300K set of bulbs I switched to.

1. They come in a fancy box that has his name and website....
2. Compared to DDMtuning that lrgrnr has the SlimCubby HID's get to full color faster.....

still trying to find more reasons they are more expensive....

For my Hellas that I'm converting I don't need the extra few seconds...

 

Slim has established himself on this site with a pretty good reputation of customer service and prompt shipping and delivery, but you have some pretty exciting products to offer people here
