The drink holders in my new 2011 Toyota Tacoma don't hold my bottle of water. Everytime I try to lift the bottle out the holder comes with me.
Does anyone know if I can buy replacement holders that will work in the slot?

How long have you had the truck? I had the same problem for about the first two months or so, but the problem seems to have gone away. Not sure if they just need a bit of time to settle or what.

Personally I run with one insert in place, and the other removed, so I can fit bigger items that otherwise would do what you're seeing. I do like that they're removable though .. makes it a lot easier to wash them. Or get a smaller diameter bottle.

Just sayin' :p. You second generation owners sure seem to post in the first generation forum a lot. Maybe you subconsciously want a first gen? ;)

Would that directly fit into my '11 slot? If so, I'm going to buy this asap.

Your local junkyard if your not picky...you can probably get it for alot cheaper than getting it online and paying for shipping not unless there's a local Toyota stuff store

for anyone interested, I just bought the old model OEM cup holder above.

It is really one of the best mod I did to my truck, it fits the 09+ console.

GET IT, even if it's pricey.

And most important: I have found the part number: 55604-04010. cost me 45$ + taxes.(canada)

    Install as shown in pic.

There are 13 cup holders in the 11 DC and they all are too small. Not sure what the designers were thinking. I mean really, who needs 13 cup holders?
