Ok well just a update, Have still not fixed rear end.

Soon as I started to last night, I got toned out on a car accident got home at 1am went to sleep woke up at 0630ish for a AED and have been busy ever since.

Anyway I was having a conversation with a friend, does it matter which side the leaf springs are on does it have a left and right?

If so that might be one of my problems LOL

Hey, truck looks good man. Leaf springs do have a front and a rear even though they are not side specific... I don't know if it is even possible to bolt them up backwards but maybe one side is in correctly and the other side is backwards giving you the crookedness that you see? Just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing. I like the fact that they are on the sides of the truck but I would place them somewhere else. Maybe on the frame?

OMFG I am horribly pissed off. And is all MY fault!!!

Ok so I rip into my truck and I redo the rear end because my rear end lookded crooked going great taking my time just chillin!!!

Get it all put back together, hmmmm something isnt right and the rear end is still some what crooked, go for a drive the ride is horrible!!!

Get back, I forgot to flip the bolts when I switched the leafs (figured just in case).

So i tear back into it and I dont losen the stock shock first and then I try to pull it out when its on stands, I demolish that bolt then I try to get my ubolts off and some how demloish 2 of those!!!!! Couldnt even get them off!!!!!

So I cut them off, anyway right now she is sitting on jack stands sending off shocks tomorrow to get my new ones. Ordering shims toirrow and its going to sit on jack stands until I get everything to do it right and not rip back into it.

Well they say bad things come in 3's.

I fell through a floor this morning during a structure fire (im ok), I got shocked by a electrical outlet (im ok) and now this.

    My day is officially over.

O also for the record when I did have the rear end together the axle still looked off but not as bad maybe they can make it better when they align my truck.

If my speling sucks is this stupid ipad.

Hmm, my new leafs were left right specific, granted I have the 1st gen.

Truck is looking great though! I hope you get it all figured out. Could it be your leafs squeaking, I know that my new leafs squeaked for a bit? There's a few threads where people have fixed it using a silicon spray I believe. Or taking old bike tubes and sticking between each leaf. Lots of DIY fixes for it.

    Sway bars are for pussies.

A sway bar is like a condom, your safer with one but it feels so much better with out.
