Disconnect the Tie Rod, makes getting the Strut out a lot easier.

If you have done strut and spring swaps on Hondas and Acuras this will be a piece of cake.

i'm lurking on the recent thread page, i just put a set of ome's on my 1st gen and if its anything similar which im sure it is.... instead of disconecting a sway bar or tie rod as mentioned above...... sit a bottle jack on the top of the uca so its pushing down on the uca fom the top of the wheel well. it gave me enough room to put the longer ome strut in , no problem.. thats a tip i heard from a member on here. big props. and plenty of pb blaster. goodluck

so the install went great. only took me a couple hours. It has to be the easiest strut install ive ever did. (hondas suck)

BUT im not happy with the lift. I wasnt thinking AND didnt even realize that my truck had the rear tsb done and I set the struts at .89 lift. So ill be back at it tomorrow morning to move it up another notch.

Does the rear tsb look like 3 leaf springs and one kinda flat one that isnt as long as the other ones? (total of 4 i guess)

thanks for the help. im gonna try 1.75" and if im not happy i can always go up, lol

but when im measuring the gap its about an inch off, so i think 1.75 will put me close to perfect
