Maybe one day clemson, fsu, miami, texas, etc will join the SEC and then there will be no competition. ESPN would still suck the pac 10's (or pac 12 whatever the hell it is) dick

I think it's funny that no one's been able to compete with the SEC 5 years in a row...

I hear ya. Aside from the trash talk about the SEC being dominant, football in the south is like a religion. I know people from other parts of the country and they admit that they have never seen such passion in the game.

Hopefully my Dawgs will meet up with the Tide in Dec. Go Dawgs!!!

Then who's gonna come out of the East? SC will start strong and fade, UT won't do anything....I say it comes down to UGA and UF. Whoever wins the Cocktail Party will win the East. Of course, that's IMHO.

I completely agree here. Thing is with me, if we cant beat UF with a first year coach and/or at least be in contention for the east then Richt should go. We have too much talent to not do better. The way I see it is, we have equal talent as UF and yet cant beat them therefore it's coaching. I know it's a mental thing, but the coaching staff needs to get the team past that. I like Richt and want him to stay, so I'm hoping for at least an appearance in the SEC Championship Game. So the question is for this year, is Richt "man enough"? Go Dawgs!!!

I'll post it now so that I can have it on record... SECC this year: Georgia loses to Alabama, saving Richt's job for at least another 2 years.

I know it is a bit of a longshot but I am pulling for Mississippi State this year, Mullen is a good coach for the team. I would not be sad to see Bama pull another championship. No offense but I don't see Georgia winning more than 7 games this season, this is all a guess though. Of course this is coming from a MSU/Bama fan.

I was just happy to see that he didn't go to auburn. It's been fun to listen to auburn fans on the radio... You just KNOW that they'd be bragging about how awesome he was going to be and how you could plan on another trip to play for a NC if he'd come there, but he went to Wisconsin and all you hear is how "we didn't want him anyway," and "nobody likes these one-year transfer players."

Finebaum (local radio host) pointed out to one idiotic caller that auburn's ticket to the NC last year was also a one-and-done transfer.

You are pulling for the wrong Dawg. :poking:

My head tells me 7-8 wins but my heart of course tells me different. We do have a favorable schedule, just gotta get by the first two (Boise St., SC) and hopefully if that could happen then we can get rolling from there. I don't remember ever having two games to start the year be so big right out of the gate and it's been a long time since we've had so many question marks going into a season. Our D has a long way to go and I'm worried about our WR's after loosing arguably the best wide out in college. We do look to have a good running game and have a hell of a QB on the positive side.

The East is wide open this year, so who knows? Go Dawgs!!! Um Jawja Dawgs that is.

I understand the first two game thing, well our second and third game will be tough. We catch LSU and Auburn (at Auburn (some of their players play extra dirty and might do so again this year because of MSU reporting $cam Newton:rolleyes:)) The main game I am worried about is Bama vs MSU later on in the season, it is so hard to choose to root for plus Bama has such a well rounded team. One game I would be interested in seeing is MSU vs Georgia again, saw it last year and well :p:D We will find out on 11/1/11 we have a solid defense, followed by an offense filled with seniors with a good quick quarterback so hopefully this is the year. Sucks y'all won't play the Tide, would be a good game as well.

ha, yeah good points. . . . i mean, obviously i love(d) the guy (i go to NCSU) but the truth is, he's not THAT great of a quarterback. if he was he would have gone pro or transfered long ago. but no, he has been at State for 4 years now. I mean, he's accurate and very fast on his feet, and if he gets sacked by a 300 lb defensive player, his ass if back on his feet like it never happened. but he's not a cam newton, he's not a tim tebow, he's just not! . . . that's just why i don't get what he thinks Wisconsin or even auburn would have to offer him in term of a pro future that State didn't. i mean, hell, phillip rivers went to State and he's doing ok. . .

i just don't see entirely what his motive is, espessialy since he's gonna have to return a lot of his baseball signing money. . . .oh and btw, i went to a ton of baseball games last year and the year before that, he's good, but not the best on the team by any means. did you know he walked on to the State football team? interesting huh? . . . anyway, end rant.
