HELP WITH HEADLIGHTS FAST

    ok, middle of install i got my old lights out, and go to put the new ones in. on the old parkin light bulb there is a green wire and white wire. which one positive and which negative? thanks

    Im guessing white would be ground. Green would be the hot wire let me look quick to find out

    Turn the key and lights on, hold the frame and then lick one wire at a time. You will have your answer. As a bonus, you will never forget.

    I haven't licked the end of the signal light, but I did use that method for testing the wires when wiring up my trailer plug.

    install complete. it wasnt too bad. took 2hrs but me and and my dad arent much on working on automobiles, and he HATES electricity. we both got the carpenter blood in us. :)

    I didn't figure it was one of those things that needed pics. I thought everyone did it that way. I guess I will have to do an instructional thres of "How to Lick It to see if she is Hot". :D yeah, I said she because as far as I am concerned my truck is a chick.
