285/75/17 on stock sport wheels

    3" Readlift lift kit. spidertrax 1.25" spacers 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers
    I have a 3" lift, and 1.25" spidertrax spacers. will 285/75/17's fit? or do i need to go with 285/70/17's I'm getting them tomorrow. is anyone running these? Got any pic's?

    I have your same setup (Toytec ULK/Spidertrax) and am running BFG 285/70R/17 tires on stock rims.

    I had to trim the front plastic wheel well and remove the mud flaps to avoid rubbing. Installing LR UCA's helped, too.

    The Spidertrax bring a cool look but only prevent rubbing on the stock UCA's.

    This shot is before the UCA install and flap removal. Looks better with the flaps off.

    the terra grappler's come in 285/75/17.
    the 285/75/17's are about 1" taller than the 70's. i want to get this size but worry about too much rubbing.

    The only issue is the width of the tire. The rubbing usually occurs on uca. The extra inch taller willl not matter, only the width. Either way you should be fine

    I don't know about clearing your UCA's but I have 285/70/17s on mine and I can't imagine clearing anything bigger without rubbin the tires raw. They usually wont clear the cab mount if I'm half lock and hit a bump.

    OP 285 stands for the width of the tire 75 or 70 stands for height, that being said either one will work with the spacers.

    Ok I have a set of bfg at ko's they are 285 70 17s,will they fit without spacers? I have the stock trd sport wheels on my truck...
