Prepping the Tacoma for a trip across country (2400 miles or so) starting next week. I will post a brief trip log and pictures here.

First update: made myself a parcel shelf in the back of the Access cab to make up for the space the dog took away.

    Some Walmart hiking poles:

    Some bottle caps:

    Some small bungees:

    Some MDF:

    Some felt and finished product:

Here is where the dog is going to live on the trip:

Good use of space for an access cab! Just curious, what kind of dog you got?

Aww man, beautiful dog you got there. I remember when both of mine were that young. Definitely brought a smile to my face reminiscing old memories.

just fyi I would remove that pic before someone gets the numbers off of your dog's tag and sells it to a telemarketer

Don't mean to thread jack or stray off topic because i'm looking forward to hearing about your trip, but here's a pic of my two last winter. They're both 6 years old now. :D

I have had my truck for just over a year now. I have been cross country three times already. NH to WA, WA to VA, and then NH to CA.

First trip i was with an army buddy, second trip i brought my mom and my last trip i brought my dad. Some of the sights are just beautiful. Driving through arizona was a blast and i loved doing the northern route and seeing the bad lands and yellowstone parks.

    Hope you enjoy your trip!

You my friend seem to live a life of adventure! How did you manage to do not one but three cross country trips?!? Jealous :)

Hahaha, very cute. I imagine my guy will look something like your dog on the left when he gets older. Congratulations.
