my buddy called me at 830 sayin he was stuck, naturally i went to pull him out. when i got there he was down to his bumpers so i winched him out. (quick question, why does the thought of a damper on the winch line completely confuse some idiots, his other friends) after i winched him out his truck wouldnt crank so we had to push him back in to let me through, then i had to pull in the mud hole beside him to jump him...my side was deeper...i buried my 35's so i locked the front diff, but u;timately had to winch from a tree to keep from kicking out and hitting his truck, but i have to say the locker makes a huge differance...

after i tried to jump him his truck still wouldnt crank, so i went ahead on the trail, turned around hooked up and pulled him through all the holes backwards to the main road, if i didnt have the front locker i wouldnt have made it, one hole dipped so far my girlfriend in the pass seat could almost touch the ground.

then i towed him home :))) tacos ftw

Lol I don't even know them its a friend of a friend... He got his sister to call back and say how she has no money and her atm card was stolen yada yada. I told her the same just 20 for gas and not even a charge for anything else, because 2 other trucks couldn't pull them out, she cussed me out and said I'm not a professional wrecker so I have no right to charge... I told her to call a wrecker then :)

yeah seriously wtf. I mean if ya gotta get pulled out, at least be able to cover the gas trip to the guy who got you out of a hella tight situation or at least guarantee a speedy payback. I'd be more than thankful and would definitely hand over $20 to a stranger after a recovery. It's only right especially if it's someone you've never met.

Great looking rig! $20 bucks is great for a rescue, but free brews should be part of a stuck deal too

I think Tacos look best covered with mud. Mud on a Tacoma is like taco sauce on a taco. ;)
