dk what everyone's plans are for the weekend but it's looking like i'll be getting into buena vista friday night...driving up mt princeton to the cabin early saturday to hike princeton and tigger, then if time/weather allows, i'll be looking to hit up some trail saturday afternoon...maybe see how far up antero i can get?

sunday maybe reserved for floating/freezing on some inner tubes down some sections of the arkansas that flow past camp and hang out near taylor reservoir, but would be willing to hit up a trail sunday morning or late afternoon

then monday i'll be heading back, looking to get some turns in at abasin before they close

let me know if you gonna be in the area and want to meet up or if you're looking to get out camping, there should be some free spots by my spot

Camped up off of Bunce School this weekend and planned on wheeling Middle St. Vrain yesterday but it was still not open!! Found some pretty descent offshoots of Bunce School to wheel though, I will throw some pictures up later today.

well i made it up beirstadt, across the sawtooth, and up Evans and back home. Was 11.5 hours of hiking/climbing. One lady was not so lucky though, She slipped going across the sawtooth and slid off a clif and to the bottom. R.I.P. Be carefull out there everyone and getting to the top means you are half way home.

Yeah I've done browns twice. 2nd run I did sidels suck hole backwards under water while I was still in the boat! Was supposed to do clear creak today but I couldn't get off work. I love private rafting and not having to pay.

Yah, how recently did that happen?! I was backpacking in canada and my guide told us about how one time he was on a trail and came across a guy who had fallen off a cliff and broke his leg. my guide was an advanced outdoorsman and was able to help him splint his leg and called for help but before the rescue crews could get there he went lethargic and then un-concious. he died of internal injuries before rescues crews arrived.

if you guys haven't heard enough cuss words today then listen to this. Or if you want to laugh whilst being slightly confused then this video is also for you.

beirstadt was 2.5 hours from the car to the top. not much snow on the southern side, a few places to cross, but no need for any special gear
